What our people say
Greg O'Driscoll: Trainee Consultant - Audit
I’m 25 and am currently part of the Kinetic Partners' (KP) Dublin Audit team. Following graduation in Accounting from C.I.T, I spent two years in the FSG department in a Big Four accountancy firm in Dublin before joining KP in 2010 as a trainee consultant.
The interview process at KP was similar to the milk rounds for the Big Four, except for one huge difference - the people interviewing. I noticed straight away that at KP the people were so friendly and approachable, from the top down. They made you feel part of the team straight away. I have learnt that at KP the people are very important and there is an excellent social side. This again has been adopted by all, with everyone joining in. This is something I certainly hadn’t experienced before and it was a great bonus.
We do work long hours and occasional weekends when required but a good work-life balance is also respected. The work at times is tough but very rewarding and appreciation for your work is always shown, every team player is a valued member - this is part of the KP culture. My job allows for variety and also enables me to study towards a professional qualification. I have been given the opportunity and funding to attend courses and lectures which will help me to achieve my goals.
Overall working at KP has been a pleasure. Teamwork is not only a trait it’s a habit. Its people are valued. This belief is embedded in the daily running of the company. Working with friendly staff who are there to help you to reach your potential as well as the Firm’s…..what more can you ask for?
