Professional development
We have developed a competency framework encompassing all the roles within the Firm. This framework provides transparency regarding the Firm’s expectations of everyone working within it and clarity regarding the qualities and values we hope everyone will demonstrate to exceed expectations and progress within the Firm.
Achievement of these competencies forms a significant part of our bi-annual performance reviews and is the foundation of our new Professional Development programme.
We believe that we have a responsibility to provide opportunities for individuals to master the key skills identified as essential for their professional development. Since our people represent the future of the Firm we want to support them in achieving their full potential while at the same time developing the core skills that we have identified as necessary for members of the Firm.
Our new professional development programme provides both training and support in the development of the core competencies that members of the Firm are required to demonstrate. The skill sets that will be developed are transferable and will also support career aspirations outside the Firm.
Our aim is to use the programme to manage the expectations and aspirations of our team and to provide transparency regarding the professional development of individuals from trainee to member.
